India is a diverse country with a variety of climates and landscapes. While some parts of the country experience extreme heat during summers, there are many places where you can beat the heat and enjoy a pleasant vacation. Here are some of the best places in India to escape the scorching summer heat.




1. Khajjiar, Himachal Pradesh

Known as the mini Switzerland of India, Khajjiar is a must-visit destination to beat the heat in India with its beautiful snow-capped mountains, including Mount Kailash1. This picturesque hill station offers a serene and tranquil environment with lush green meadows, dense forests, and a crystal-clear lake.   1. At first I make a suggestion to the author to use the word vast instead of diverse and use the word diverse in its appropriate place in the same sentense.
    The writer has while limiting the number of suggessted places to beat the summer hot has inadvertently left the places like Darjeeling Andaman Goa etc.
    Some destination lije gangtok is well selected. The visitor will not only have pleasant whether but can also learn to lead a life without plastic and also learn how to keep their city environment clean and out of danger of plasticmaia or plastic damons. Thanks for sych beatiful article

    1. I don't think Andaman and Goa are cooler places in summer. So the Author may have not added them to the list since the article is about getaways during summer to escape heat. Yes, Darjeeling could have been added.
