Late for school

So we all have this common problem - we love our school, but we are late for school. We have morning school. We wake up early, brush our teeth, have breakfast, get ready. But, then, we somehow, almost everyday, manage to have that one parent screaming out to us - Fast, buck - up, else - you will be Late For School.

Our entire school memory seems almost incomplete without a memory of our parents chasing the school bus, along with us, sometimes on foot, sometimes by car. And, it seems like a great live video game experience - we feel the adrenaline rush to catch u with the school bus. We are the racer here. And we are late for school. What a chase.

But, being late is neither a fancy thing, nor a good habit. And if cultivated, it can indeed lead us to a lot of troubles in later years, esp. as we grow up. Imagine - you breaking up with your someone special, just because you couldn't help being late. Imagine you being rejected your dream job, just because you got late. Imagine, you were not able to sit for the annual exams, just because you got late. And even more dreadful, imagine you got trapped in a danger spot, just - because you got late - risking your life.

So, you see, there must be a way out to alter getting late isn't it. But, don't worry. Your friend Prabhasini is back again, with amazing  tips up her sleeves to help you beat the betraying clock making you late for school. So, read on...:

1. Set up an alarm. You have a wide variety of choices - android apps, windows apps, i-phone apps. These have personalized alarms with advanced features bound to wake you up.

2. Following the first tip - its about that phone. Its our best friend, at times a savior. And we all know that its so indispensable and valuable - most have stooped calling it a phone, and began addressing it as a PA. But, try not to use it before bedtime- to be precise, just before bedtime. Finish off your tasks atleast an hour before you go to bed. And, let your mind relax. It will help you have great rejuvenated brains, and energetic mornings. So, you won't be sleeping here-there, everywhere.

3. Plan your tomorrow in advance. And, also keep enough room for sudden occurrences. That way, you will be ready, steady and on track, avoiding a lot of time wastage in the last minute searches.

4. Set your watches atleast 15 minutes ahead. Even if you do it yourself, do it. It is a proven method to make you 15 minutes early.

5. And most important - Do Not Panic. Even if after a lot of attempts by you, or due to some unavoidable circumstances, you get late, do not panic. It leads to a confused brain - making you forget things, loose focus and synchronicity, thereby, getting you be more late.

With these 5 tips on your fingertips, I am confident, that you will challenge and beat the ticking clock next time, in terms of punctuality. But, if you have even more tips, all of us would love to know it. Please leave your comments.
