Say 'No' to 'Blue-Whale Challenge, Say 'Yes to Life'

Hello and welcome back everyone. I had been away for quite sometime, and I do apologize for that. Well, my father had been admitted to the hospital with a fractured wrist, which required an operation. My aunt and uncle passed away, consequently. And, with all these, I was really upset. Well, being in the hospital, I actually came across a paradoxical situation -

The surging popularity of the disturbing suicidal Blue Whale challenge, and, the tremendous wish to LIVE a life.

Aren't they completely ironical to each other. One presents a sorry state of affairs, where one is left with only one option - to suicide - to end ones' life once and for all. On the contrary, people praying and spending whatever is demanded, to get back their life. In certain cases, people even chose to live even after conditioned to be partly disable for the rest of their lives.

And, this definitely confirms, suicide is never a consciously chosen option. Nobody, in full senses wants to part with their precious soul.

But then, how come a game as this has turned to shape of a threatening epidemic.

Well, from my research after this experience, I found you could be facing either of this -

a. No job
b. Failing in job interviews again and again
c. No girlfriend / boyfriend
d. Constant rejections
e. No friends
f. Alienation by peers
g. Parents not friendly / understanding / providing enough for dreams
h. Not securing admission to chosen college / course of studies
i. Not having won a competition / won a position / secured something
j. Not being able to fulfill fancies and dreams, while others are getting it.
k. Not being paid attention much or appreciated while others are enjoying it.
And the list continues.

In short, being denied, rejected and failed is what prompts one to take such a drastic step. And, even more shocking is this fact that people - who are otherwise smart and intelligent 21st century hi-tech gadget freaks, with no place for 'seemingly silly' emotions and patience, always sharpening their logical acumen, immerses this very logic and craves for that very emotion when situations surface as such. We actually stop listening to ourselves, get over-burdened psychologically for having suppressed our feelings, and indeed our logic betrays us, mostly because all we do is mere imitation and not a display of logical genius.

I recently had a friend, who set upon ruining his life for a girl, who was rather trying by all means to make him realize, she doesn't care a bit about him, and actually he is irritating her by pursuing her every now and then. It took a lot of counseling to make him give up his ideas finally. Well, preferences vary. And this must be accepted. You just, may not be the choice of some-one. You might have just lost some competitions. You might lack in some things. You might not be the popular king / queen. You might not have the coolest parents in the world.

But, at least your parents are warm enough to give you a supporting arm when needed. They brought you in this wonderful planet, bearing a lot of pain. And, suddenly in a minute, you forsake them.
You might not have a million of friends in Facebook. But, think about that one friend who always cares to be with you even when you forget commitments. You might not be having any sweetheart now, but you would not have a severe heartbreak from a cheater either. And, you would have ample opportunity in your single-hood, to groom yourself up in every aspects of life.

Further, we often forget what we have in a bid to pursue our have-nots. Well, this is what builds up our frustration.

And then, the world plunges into something like this - Blue Whale Challenge.

So, we find that all of us love to play games as well. Challenge ourselves. If that is the case, why not we try playing another sort of game -

Live Happy Life - Challenge

It would be a game of 50 days, where you would do something to make someone else happy

The challenges -

1. Sleep at 11 pm and rise up at sharp 6 am. Not a second delay. To be continued for the rest of the 50 days.
2. Do something which keeps you moving - exercise, walking, dancing, going about the town, the choice is yours. Continue for 49 days.
3. Help someone who needs help - your neighbour / your grandparents / the elderly in the bus / the handicapped beggar across the street; anybody of your choice. Do it for every alternate days for the next 48 days.
4. Share your stories with your parents / friends about how you brought smile in the face of someone.
5. Clean up your room, esp. browse through your old stuffs. Discard whatever is not required. Re-use. You should find at-least one stuff which you regard as a priced possession.
6. We all are internet savvy. Log out of our devices - all internet devices for today. Digital detox
7. Detox continues
8. Find something you would love to learn. There would indeed be millions of skills in this enormous world, which we do-not know, yet would love to know.
Start by something which is readily available - either over the internet or at your locality or at your friend's disposal.
9. Have a talk with your parents. Every day / night. Share with them. Everything. At times, they indeed have better strategies than us over various matters. After all, experience counts.

10............................40.  Continue this routine
40.............................49. Teach someone what you learned / apply it somewhere to do something good and make people / you feel happy and relieved.
50. Share this challenge with a person who is depressed, share your stories of winning to the entire world - the story of helping and making a difference.

And the curator - pick up a close friend, who would motivate you. And if you do not have a friend; do not worry. Write blogs, and let the world read your stories.

The ones finishing the game successfully would be - Saviors. Now, your challenge - save the world from the epidemic of suicide. Share your success stories. Inspire others to do the same.

Actually, till we have our lives, we have the powers to make a difference. Once lost, we are lost into oblivion for ever. Death is eminent. It would have for sure one day. It is a huge act of cowardice to kill thy self instead of trying to solve our problems. Problems never stop. They are the teachers who build roads to move ahead. Embrace them.

Say a big "yes" to "life".
