Exam Time Near, High Fever and Fear

So you know that exams are round the corner, and March is about to set in. You already feel your knees shaky. You feel like you miss a heartbeat or two. And of-course, you all need that one friend, who can boost your confidence level. You need those small last minute tips - to get good scores in boards or annual exams and above all, to relax that taxed mind. If this is what you feel, then, your friend Prabhasini is back again with her amazing tips. Please read on...

1) The first and foremost tip: now that its high time, its really necessary that you keep your mind decluttered. Don't try to mug up any extra concept - esp. if it tires the brain a lot. Practice all the concepts that you have already studied. Keep short tips for remembering and understanding the concepts.

2) Often it seems - an untidy room adds up to more anxiety esp. if books are not your good friends. And, it might be even difficult to find - that important note at the crucial moment. Hence, try to keep your place of study organized.

3)We all love to socialize. Very true, and why not. But, it would be even better if we could celebrate a pass party with friends isn't it. So, half an hour of Facebook or Twitter or Whatsapp is not at all detrimental. However, if friends instill the horror of exam / you tend to pass away hours on end, well, we can check that atleast for a month.

4)Hmm, so your friends have gone down to earn that zero figure, and that too, during exam time, when you can't accompany her / him out to the gym. And, you get a tip - heavy dieting. Well, don't compromise on healthy and quantity of food. Drink adequate water as well. As these will help you in retention and of course, chilling out.

5)If you are creative / visual person, then - use flow charts, diagrams etc. to link and connect the concepts.

6) And finally, never compromise on your sleep time. Being a night owl may be good. But, the brain will be relaxed and active only if you recharge it - with a good nights sleep.

If you would like to share further tips and tricks of your own, please share them with me - @PranWin on twitter or by email- aamiprabhasini@gmail.com  . I would really love to know them. And for now, good bye, but stay tuned for my next posts.
