Most of you have this fear - an inexplicable fear of numbers. And there lurks this feeling that 'I might fail in this subject for sure'. The equations seem to be haunting you every day and night. And most of your schooling days are passed cursing the pics and names of the great mathematicians whose references are there throughout the text-books.
Well, your friend Prabhasini is back here again, with an amazing thing to share about myself. I was never ever scared of Maths. Rather, I really loved this subject as a student. And, I always managed to score good marks in this subject. Most people said back then, that it was a matter of fact - a genetic genius at play. Well, I do belong to an affluent family of academicians, but to tell the truth, I myself am pretty average as a student, sitting for exams. But, I am a true Indian - who are great at framing jugaad tips and easy tricks. And all I did, was just that.
Although its true - there is never a shortcut route to success. But there is always a strategic route to it. So, let's rejoice, as in this post of today, I am going to share these tips and tricks of mine with you. Then, we can have a lot of friends for Maths, atleast that's what I believe.
1. Separate and regroup your chapters. That way you will be able to better grasp the concept, relate them together and apply to the problems.
2. Make a graphical story board for the various concept as they will help you better remember the formulas.
3. Solve variety of problems and a lot of problems. Use creativity to often frame your own problems and logically analyse different life situations using mathematical concept. The truth is its a purely practical subject given the nature of a distant alien. Maths is present all around us. And hence, it's the most relatable subject ever. Just we need to cultivate this skill.
4. Never fear upon seeing a problem. The best part of mathematics is that the answers lie within the problem. Just we need to assess it. So, just break the problem into smaller pieces solve and integrate. That's the final answer.
